HR Generalist – Portugal

About the role

Glanua is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as the local HR representative for its Portugal office. The role provides hands‑on operational HR support to employees and managers, ensuring alignment with company policies and delivering a consistent employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for Portugal‑based employees and managers on day‑to‑day HR matters.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract administration, and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate local office operations to maintain a professional working environment.
• Provide administrative assistance for procurement activities, such as developing payment applications and certificates.
• Liaise with the HR Senior Manager in Ireland and external payroll service providers.
• Collaborate with the Group Head of Engineering on procurement‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Practical, solutions‑focused HR generalist with experience in a multi‑country business.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and HR administration.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
