HR Business Analyst & Automation

About the role

Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) is looking for an HR Process Automation Specialist in Lisbon. You will use AI-assisted tools and low-code/no-code platforms to streamline HR processes and increase operational simplicity, working closely with process and product owners. The role sits in the Digital family and is open to candidates who make data-driven decisions and embrace Airbus values.

Key responsibilities

• Use generative AI tools (such as Gemini) to turn natural-language prompts into workflows, automation logic and lightweight tools
• Build user-friendly applications, forms and automated routines with low-code platforms (e.g. Google AppSheet)
• Partner with HR stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, redesign workflows and remove repetitive tasks
• Test and refine automated solutions for reliability and ease of use
• Maintain documentation, write end-user guides and train HR teams on new digital tools
• Ensure solutions comply with internal security policies and data protection regulations (GDPR)

Required profile

• Ability to use AI tools to generate automation logic through clear, natural-language instructions
• Familiarity with no-code or low-code approaches
• Strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
• Comfortable working autonomously in cross-functional, globally distributed teams
• Excellent written and spoken English

Required skills

• Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
• Google AppSheet or AppScript
• Prior knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, SAP or Cornerstone is a plus but not required
