Housekeeping Supervisor (Governanta)

About the role

The Resort Vale do Lobo is looking for a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor (Governanta) to lead its cleaning team. You will ensure high‑quality service, proper task distribution and a pleasant environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
• Monitor service quality and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Allocate tasks efficiently to guarantee coverage across all areas.
• Manage shift schedules, including rotating and night shifts.
• Handle conflicts and promote a collaborative team atmosphere.

Required profile

• Relevant professional experience in housekeeping or hospitality supervision (preferred).
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong team spirit, leadership, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Dynamic, proactive attitude with the ability to manage conflicts.
• Availability to work rotating hours and shifts.
