Head of Payments

About the role

ETG, a fast‑growing travel‑tech company operating in over 80 countries, is looking for a Head of Payments to lead its global payment infrastructure. This fully remote position will oversee pay‑ins, payouts, anti‑fraud measures and overall payment operations, aligning strategy with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the end‑to‑end payment infrastructure, including pay‑ins, payouts, anti‑fraud and operations.
• Define and execute a payments strategy that supports business growth, profitability and market expansion.
• Manage the payments P&L, controlling acquiring, payout, fraud and conversion costs.
• Lead implementation of new payment solutions from business case to launch and ongoing optimisation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, Finance, Commercial) to deliver measurable impact.
• Build and maintain relationships with PSPs, banks and other payment partners.
• Ensure infrastructure resilience through failover, provider diversification and scalable architecture.
• Drive cost optimisation and identify new monetisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience managing international payment teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for payments‑related P&L.
• Track record of delivering payment transformation projects.
• Ability to influence senior and C‑level stakeholders.
