Global Logistics Specialist

About the role

As a Global Logistics Specialist at Ferring Pharmaceuticals you will design and implement worldwide warehousing and distribution capabilities while overseeing end‑to‑end logistics operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure compliance, service excellence and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support SNO Customer Service and regional teams in daily shipment execution, coordinating with distribution partners.
• Manage operational queries, approve routes or flights, and align internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reviews with distribution partners, providing metrics and case studies.
• Report on‑time and accurate global logistics KPIs.
• Investigate logistics changes and deviations, and follow up in the Trackwise system.
• Maintain supplier compliance with Ferring GDP requirements, updating documentation and SOPs in the Veeva system.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration.
• 3‑5 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, food & beverage, chemical or retail sectors.
• Experience with GDP/GMP regulations and deviation management.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to make independent decisions.
• Positive, proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
