General Ledger Accountant – Finance

About the role

We are expanding our Record to Report team and are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance hub in Lisbon. You will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial data while supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, deferrals and reclassifications.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to guarantee accurate balances.
• Perform account analysis and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure financial data complies with accounting standards and internal regulations.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting through precise financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and keep proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or a related field.
• Previous experience in general ledger or accounting processes.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).

Required skills

• MS Office tools proficiency.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Query (a plus).
• Experience with Oracle financial systems (valued).
