Full‑Stack Engineer – MVP Development & Potential Co‑Founder

About the role

xCENCIA Health is building a next‑generation preventive health platform that combines genetics, biomarkers, wearables and AI. We need a full‑stack engineer to develop the MVP end‑to‑end and potentially grow into a tech lead or co‑founder.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the MVP front‑end and back‑end using React and TypeScript based on the existing prototype.
• Design and implement a secure, scalable architecture for sensitive health data.
• Integrate wearable APIs (Apple Health, Garmin, Oura, etc.) and build biometric data pipelines.
• Create dashboards, scoring systems, alerts and personalization modules.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and GDPR.
• Collaborate directly with the founder on product definition, roadmap and architecture.
• Grow into a tech‑lead role and, if mutually agreed, take equity as a co‑founder.

Required profile

• Strong experience building full‑stack applications with React and TypeScript.
• Backend experience with Node.js frameworks such as NestJS or Express.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Timescale).
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Startup mindset: autonomy, speed, ownership and impact‑driven attitude.
• Interest in health, data, AI or biometrics is a strong plus.
