Fullstack Engineer (Angular/Python)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Fullstack Engineer to join our international team in Lisbon. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components, using Angular for the UI and Python with FastAPI for the server side.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python backend services.
• Build scalable applications with FastAPI.
• Implement front‑end features using the Angular framework.
• Create and document RESTful APIs.
• Write automated tests, preferably with pytest.
• Manage data access using SQLAlchemy.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Containerize applications with Docker or Podman.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Python backend development.
• Strong experience with Angular.
• Proven expertise in building scalable FastAPI applications.
• Solid knowledge of SQLAlchemy and REST APIs.
• Experience with automated testing (pytest preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred).
• Practical experience with Docker or Podman.
