Fullstack Developer – Real‑time Geospatial Intelligence Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join the ATLAS team, a real‑time geospatial intelligence platform that powers military, security and civilian missions worldwide. You will work on both the operator‑facing React UI and the backend services that fuse live sensor feeds into a sub‑second operational picture.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from React interfaces to APIs, event‑driven pipelines and data stores.
• Develop the operational frontend using React, Zustand for state management and a pnpm‑based toolchain, delivering fast, data‑heavy maps.
• Drive AI‑first development by writing specifications and guiding Claude Code to generate implementation across the stack.
• Review, test and harden AI‑generated code to defence‑grade standards, ensuring correctness and security.
• Define component boundaries, data models, failure modes and performance characteristics that AI cannot decide.
• Maintain high‑throughput streaming, real‑time fan‑out and graceful degradation under network stress.
• Establish AI‑first patterns and guardrails, mentoring the team to leverage tools without sacrificing quality.
• Collaborate with product, design and operational teams to solve real‑world, mission‑critical problems.

Required profile

• Several years of building and operating production full‑stack systems used by real users.
• Deep experience with React in production, modern tooling (pnpm) and pragmatic state management (Zustand).
• Strong expertise in at least one backend ecosystem: C#/.NET, Node.js/TypeScript or Python.
• Solid instincts for API design, data modelling and distributed event‑driven architecture.
• Hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, with a clear view of their strengths and limits.
• Rigorous review and testing discipline to verify correctness in an AI‑first environment.
