Full Stack Java/Angular Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Java/Angular Full Stack Developer to join our collaborative, technology‑driven team in Porto. You will work on scalable, high‑performance applications, contribute to modern architecture decisions and deliver innovative digital solutions within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance modern frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript.
• Design, develop and integrate RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and DevOps teams.
• Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.
• Support CI/CD processes and contribute to deployment and release activities.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot and micro‑services.
• Solid experience with Angular, TypeScript and RESTful API integration.
• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with Docker, Git and unit testing tools (JUnit, Mockito).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• English level B2 or higher.
