About the role

ActAI is building proactive, AI‑native applications that turn everyday tasks into reliable, goal‑driven workflows. As a Full Stack Engineer – AI Systems you will create the product layer that transforms large‑language‑model capabilities into production‑grade features, handling planning, tool use, failure recovery and real‑time interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end product features across the frontend (Next.js) and backend (Python, Node.js) while integrating AI components.
• Design and implement agent workflows that manage multi‑step planning, tool usage, error handling and recovery.
• Integrate LLMs, memory stores, and external tools to build systems that operate reliably under real‑world conditions.
• Build real‑time AI interactions with streaming responses, low latency and partial results.
• Improve system reliability, observability and fallback mechanisms for LLM and tool failures.
• Collaborate with machine‑learning, backend and product teams to ship features from concept to production.
• Iterate continuously based on usage data, failure modes and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong experience in full‑stack engineering (frontend + backend).
• Solid understanding of system design and API architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, retrieval‑augmented generation or AI‑powered applications.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and make pragmatic decisions.
• High ownership mindset – capable of taking features from idea to production.
