About the role
The Front Desk Agent provides attentive, courteous, and efficient service to hotel guests throughout their stay, from check‑in to check‑out. The role focuses on delivering a positive guest experience while supporting revenue maximisation and optimal occupancy.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle reservations.
- Address guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and coordinate with other hotel departments.
- Promote hotel services and upsell room upgrades to increase revenue.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
- Perform light physical tasks such as lifting or moving items up to 20 lb occasionally.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- College coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer‑service environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and work flexible, long hours.
- Basic computer proficiency.
