Food & Beverage Cashier (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Food & Beverage Cashier supports the hotel’s dining outlets by handling guest payments, assisting with seating, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This part‑time position works closely with hosts, servers, and the kitchen team in a resort‑style environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect cash and credit card payments from guests and servers, provide correct change, and operate the approved credit‑card machine.
• Prepare and balance the cashier report at the end of each shift.
• Distribute tips to servers and service attendants when applicable.
• Greet and seat guests promptly, assist hosts/hostesses, and support servers as needed.
• Take reservations and room‑service orders following hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of menus and service areas.
• Answer telephone calls courteously and follow standard scripts.
• Perform opening and closing side‑work according to the checklist.

Required profile

• Friendly, attentive, and courteous attitude toward guests, colleagues and managers.
• Ability to follow hotel standards and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Basic math proficiency for handling cash and making change.
