Field Data Collection Specialist (Surveyor)

About the role

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our field data collection teams across Europe. As a Field Data Collection Specialist, you will walk assigned routes equipped with a camera‑mounted backpack, capturing visual and geo‑data to improve online mapping applications.

Key responsibilities

• Walk within designated areas (5‑6 hours daily) and record video, photos, and audio of the surroundings.
• Operate the provided camera equipment and ensure data quality.
• Maintain and charge equipment, and follow safety and travel guidelines.
• Upload collected data using the supplied SIM card and data plan.
• Collaborate with the project manager to meet daily targets.

Required profile

• Good physical condition to walk 5‑6 hours each day.
• Fluent English (minimum B1 level).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s licence and eligibility for travel.
• Experience in data collection is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Camera operation and basic data recording.
