Factory Express Engineering – Engagement Project Manager

About the role

The Factory Express Engineering – Engagement Project Manager supports HPE’s Global Manufacturing and Fulfillment teams by guiding short‑term, customer‑focused projects that deliver customized factory solutions. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with engineering, presales, and external partners to ensure seamless quote‑to‑order execution and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the full Factory Express portfolio and advise presales on appropriate services.
• Manage the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, including resource planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cross‑company communication.
• Coordinate expeditious review and validation of quotes to ensure smooth order processing and global factory execution.
• Work with engineering management to identify and implement process improvements.
• Engage with external standards bodies and partners as required.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with HPE’s values and customer expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering development projects in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to apply subject‑matter expertise to solve technical problems and recommend alternatives.
• Strong independent judgment with the capacity to consult stakeholders for optimal outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across global teams.
