Experienced Consultant – Accounting, Compliance & Reporting

About the role

Join EY's Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team in Porto as an Experienced Consultant. You will work on multi‑service line projects, helping clients improve the efficiency of their accounting compliance and reporting processes while preparing local and consolidated financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of accounting, tax compliance and reporting services for multiple clients with high efficiency and quality.
• Create, implement and maintain comprehensive accounting policy and procedure documentation.
• Develop accounting analyses, validations and effective reporting solutions in line with local and group requirements.
• Establish, monitor, evaluate and interpret accounting and tax data.
• Support the implementation of key regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Build professional, trusted relationships with customers.
• Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SNC and NCRF.
• Familiarity with IAS, IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Navision or Primavera.
