Employee Relations Manager

About the role

Amgen is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead HR investigations and provide expert guidance on employee relations matters across assigned EMEA countries. Reporting to the Regional Employee Relations Lead, you will partner with people leaders, Legal, Compliance and HR stakeholders to ensure fair, consistent and compliant handling of workplace issues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, impartial and timely investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct or other policy breaches.
• Prepare detailed investigation documentation, including plans, interview notes and summary reports.
• Present investigation findings clearly to HR, Legal partners and business leaders.
• Advise people leaders on performance management, probation, disciplinary and grievance processes, workplace adjustments and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with local HR Business Partners to address complex employee relations issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold Amgen’s values of respect and integrity throughout all interactions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law and best practices in employee relations.
• Proven ability to conduct investigations with objectivity and sensitivity.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to coach and guide managers.
• Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably within the EMEA region.
