EMEA Benefits Manager

About the role

We are looking for a talented individual to join our EMEA Benefits team at Marsh in Lisbon. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and will oversee benefits renewals and activities across 48 countries, supporting roughly 22,000 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage benefits activities across the EMEA region, covering 48 countries and up to four entities per country.
• Lead and coach a team responsible for regional benefits support.
• Maintain effective relationships with Compliance, Legal, HR Services and local HR teams.
• Collaborate with Global Benefits Management on annual renewals.
• Drive cost‑reduction projects through benefits harmonisation.
• Participate in merger and acquisition initiatives.
• Oversee vendor management for the Darwin benefits platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience in benefits or rewards management in a multi‑country environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills across functions and geographies.
• Experience with annual renewals, cost optimisation and process harmonisation.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, matrixed organisation.
