E-commerce Operations Specialist

About the role

Metyis is looking for an E-commerce Operations Specialist with 4-5 years of experience to join its Digital Commerce team at the HUGO BOSS Digital Campus in Porto, Portugal. The role is hybrid and focuses on keeping end-to-end customer orders running smoothly across e-commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure a smooth end-to-end customer order experience across e-commerce platforms globally.
• Monitor operational e-commerce processes and troubleshoot and coordinate bug fixes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse SLAs and create reports based on business needs, and initiate data-driven decisions and improvements.
• Coordinate and plan key selling moments from the operational site with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
• Oversee operational on-site communication and transactional emails.
• Work closely with external providers such as 3PLs and global enablers.

Required profile

• 4-5 years of e-commerce operations experience.
• Understanding of e-commerce customer needs and of e-commerce KPIs, reflected in own priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and self-starting attitude, with willingness to make decisions and take ownership.
• Nice to have: fluency in another European language (German, Spanish or French), retail and fashion experience, and experience in international, consultancy or start-up environments.

Required skills

• Experience with systems such as SAP ERP, OMS, CMS, ticketing tools, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Process and IT affinity.
