Documentation Specialist – Freight Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Documentation Specialist (Freight) to join Nestlé Business Services Lisbon. Reporting to the Trade Assets Supervisor, you will ensure smooth transportation of goods for the Nestlé Professional (Obsidian Project), guaranteeing compliance, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the movement of goods across the supply chain.
• Research optimal shipping routes, carriers, and delivery modes.
• Resolve issues related to shipped orders.
• Organise shipment schedules, quantities, and delivery methods.
• Ensure all required documentation is prepared and compliant.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimise processes.
• Accountability for goods reaching the customer on time.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Solid understanding of logistics and international transportation.
• Competence in import/export regulations.
• Good knowledge of SAP navigation.
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI.
