Director, Talent Acquisition

About the role

Ideals is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead its global recruitment function as the company scales toward unicorn status. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape talent strategy, drive AI‑enabled hiring processes and ensure high‑quality hires across EMEA, the Americas and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the ambassador for Talent Acquisition, turning recruitment data into executive‑level insights.
• Lead six managers and their teams in recruitment, sourcing, employer branding and operations with a coaching‑focused style.
• Review, redesign and automate the end‑to‑end recruitment life cycle, applying process‑improvement and resource‑planning techniques.
• Champion an inclusive candidate experience, guaranteeing fairness for a diverse applicant pool.
• Partner with the Executive team, Talent & Development, People Operations and Legal to align hiring plans with business objectives.
• Drive measurable outcomes such as time‑to‑hire, quality of hire and productivity, while overseeing the adoption of AI tools.
• Support Ideals’ strategic expansion across multiple regions and sustain its growth trajectory.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience leading Talent Acquisition functions, including second‑line management.
• Proven track record of scaling recruitment operations in fast‑growing, global organisations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate metrics into strategic decisions.
• Experience influencing senior leadership and aligning talent strategy with revenue targets.
