Director of Player Safety & Anti-Cheat

About the role

Scopely is seeking a Director of Player Safety & Anti‑Cheat to lead the Trust & Safety function for the Monopoly GO! mobile game. This senior, remote position will shape and execute strategies that protect millions of players from cheating, fraud and account compromise while ensuring a fair and secure gameplay experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale a multidisciplinary Trust & Safety team with expertise in anti‑cheat, account security, content moderation and fraud prevention.
• Design, integrate and continuously improve anti‑cheat systems in partnership with engineering and external providers.
• Develop and implement strategies to prevent account theft, compromise and unauthorized access.
• Manage strategic relationships with SaaS, security and anti‑fraud vendors, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Define and optimise moderation, fraud detection and player safety processes for consistent, scalable enforcement.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal and Operations to deliver robust trust and safety measures.
• Identify emerging risks proactively and deliver solutions that support growth and reputation.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background with experience designing or integrating anti‑cheat engines.
• Proven knowledge of account security systems and video‑game account management.
• Familiarity with SaaS management, third‑party integrations and external frontline operations.
