Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations will inspire member‑facing teams and partner with Sales, Development, Food & Beverage, Member Services, Outdoor Pursuits, Human Resources and other key departments to deliver outstanding experiences for members and prospects. This role is central to creating the Discovery Land Company experience across the CostaTerra community.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and monitor operational strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Coordinate and supervise operational teams, ensuring productivity, quality and compliance.
• Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs and optimize resource allocation.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Lead process‑improvement and organisational transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, HR and other departments for strategic alignment.
• Report regularly to management on operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Economics or related field (Master’s/MBA a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational management or leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Leadership spirit with resilience and ability to work under pressure.
• High sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
