Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations will lead the Club Operations Department at Discovery Land Company’s new project, overseeing member‑facing teams and ensuring exceptional experiences for members and prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement, and monitor the operational strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Coordinate and supervise operational teams and departments to ensure productivity and quality.
• Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Lead process‑improvement and organizational transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Human Resources, and other departments for strategic alignment.
• Report regularly to management on operational performance.
• Motivate, develop, and manage the teams under your responsibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Economics or related field (Master's/MBA a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational management or leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of process management, operational optimization, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and results‑driven mindset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Good level of English (written and spoken).
