Digital Architect – Industrial Digitalization

About the role

As a Digital Architect you will shape the software architecture for Bosch's industrial digitalization initiatives. You will work closely with global IT teams, business consultants and product owners to deliver robust, cost‑efficient solutions that support the company’s technology evolution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software architecture patterns, focusing on industrial digitalization.
• Provide architectural consulting for global IT projects, covering solution and business architecture.
• Support in‑house product development phases and safeguard architectural integrity.
• Define, document, and communicate architectural decisions to harmonize the system landscape.
• Create architectural blueprints, conduct risk analyses, and ensure sustainable solution designs.
• Collaborate with Business Consultants and Product Owners to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective architectural specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the organization’s technology and architecture landscape.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in software engineering and software architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud architecture, big data environments, DevOps practices and CI/CD principles.
• Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
