DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Welvaart is looking for a Mid to Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build and secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and help our teams deliver reliable, automated, and cost‑effective services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
• Integrate security best practices across the entire SDLC.
• Manage and optimise Azure infrastructure with a focus on security, cost and performance.
• Implement security monitoring, threat detection and incident‑response processes.
• Automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Identify vulnerabilities, drive remediation and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure and security teams.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior experience in DevOps or DevSecOps.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Azure networking, identity and access management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
