DevOps / Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) – Fully Remote

About the role

We are an IT consultancy looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer who will own and evolve our Kubernetes‑based platform. The position is 100% remote and offers the chance to work on diverse client projects while shaping the infrastructure roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage production Kubernetes clusters, including lifecycle, ingress, service mesh, and cert‑manager.
• Write and maintain Helm charts or Kustomize overlays for application delivery.
• Automate platform provisioning with Terraform and Helm.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows, preferably using ArgoCD.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Implement security best practices and embed compliance requirements into platform architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to infrastructure documentation and roadmaps.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• At least one year of hands‑on production Kubernetes experience.
• Proven ability to write Helm charts/Kustomize configurations and use Terraform for automation.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps processes.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Go, Python or Bash.
• Solid knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and SLI/SLO frameworks.
• Familiarity with security standards and platform hardening.
• Track record of mentoring colleagues and influencing infrastructure strategy.
