DevOps Engineer (Mid-level, Hybrid in Almada)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join its hybrid team in Almada. You will work on diverse client projects, helping to design, implement and maintain modern cloud‑native infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Deploy, monitor and scale containerised applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage cloud resources on Azure, AWS or GCP with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Ensure security best practices and networking configurations are applied.
• Collaborate with development teams to support micro‑services architectures.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Solid Linux systems administration skills.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Fluent English (mandatory).
