DevOps Engineer – Mid-Level (3-6 yrs)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing IT team in Portugal. You will work closely with business units to support their IT needs, streamline workflows, and ensure reliable production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support business IT requirements and understand production workflows.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and partner teams.
• Diagnose underlying issues, apply patches or releases, and help prevent recurring problems.
• Automate routine, procedure‑oriented tasks through scripting.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (3‑6 years) in DevOps or related IT operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• DevOps practices and tooling.
• Linux environments, especially Red Hat.
• Windows operating systems.
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts.
• Application performance monitoring, preferably Dynatrace.
• General IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Shell scripting for automation.
