DevOps Engineer

About the role

Jscrambler is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain a scalable, secure and automated infrastructure that supports our cloud, hybrid and bare‑metal environments. You will help ensure fast, safe software delivery while keeping costs, security and operational excellence in focus.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) across local, hosted, cloud and bare‑metal platforms.
• Provision, operate and troubleshoot bare‑metal servers, including hardware diagnostics, OS debugging and performance tuning.
• Maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable software releases.
• Manage containerised application environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and support related tooling.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and logging solutions to ensure high availability.
• Apply security and compliance best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
• Respond to incidents, improve system performance and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and contribute to the DevOps roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience with infrastructure automation in cloud, hybrid and bare‑metal settings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on Linux/Unix systems and hardware platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of security, compliance and monitoring best practices.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across product and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Version control (Git).
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Security and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, etc.).
