DevOps Engineer

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate containerized and serverless workloads on AWS. You will work across ECS, EKS, Lambda, and Step Functions, applying infrastructure‑as‑code principles and supporting both greenfield prototypes and existing production systems in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and improve existing functionality while prototyping new solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship to colleagues.
• Analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges.
• Design, build, and operate containerized and serverless workloads on AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and repeatable deployments for Kubernetes and serverless stacks.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operational runbooks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS ECS (Fargate/EC2), EKS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Git, and JIRA.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
