DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our partner’s high‑performing tech team. Working closely with the Platform Owner and other technical groups, you will manage and optimise infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and on‑premises environments while handling administrative and operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins or similar tools.
• Support and manage on‑premise environments and GitLab repositories.
• Monitor system and application performance and implement security best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Document infrastructure, processes and assist in legacy system migrations.
• Perform regular updates, patches and manage logging/monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Handle incident management and provide technical support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and proactive work style.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with low‑code platforms like Mendix is a plus.

• GitLab repository management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins.
• Linux/Unix systems.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
• Logging and monitoring: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Networking fundamentals and security best practices.
