DevOps Engineer for International AI Project

About the role

IRIUM is seeking a DevOps professional to lead the handover, operation, and continuous improvement of AI solutions for an international project. You will work closely with AI solution leads, external vendors, and support teams to ensure reliable, cost‑effective delivery of AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured handover of AI solutions from external vendors, reviewing code, prompts, configurations, and architecture.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation for AI solutions in production.
• Design, develop, and ship AI features using Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot extensibility, Azure AI Foundry, and custom Python/TypeScript services.
• Apply enterprise AI governance, responsible AI guardrails, and reusable component contributions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) following GitOps and IaC standards.
• Implement LLMOps practices: prompt versioning, evaluation datasets, A/B testing, automated quality and regression testing.
• Set up observability (logs, traces, cost, usage, response quality) and act on alerts.
• Optimize consumption costs and report unit economics per solution.
• Serve as L3 escalation point, investigate incidents, and maintain a knowledge base of known issues.
• Run discovery sessions with business owners, translate needs into user stories, and manage backlog prioritisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering for AI/ML solutions.
• Strong understanding of LLMOps, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
