DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure Automation

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Aubay Portugal’s technology consultancy team. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining cloud‑native infrastructure for clients across sectors such as banking, insurance, automotive and telecommunications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage solutions on AWS or Azure, including managed services such as EKS or AKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows with tools like GitHub Actions, Flux, ArgoCD or Jenkins.
• Operate Linux‑based environments, containers and Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Implement cloud networking components – routing, load balancers, NAT, security groups and network isolation.
• Develop scripts and small programs in Bash, Python or Go to solve operational problems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Ansible.
• Advanced Linux knowledge and familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps and “Everything as Code” principles.
• Good understanding of cloud networking concepts.
• Fluent English (B2+/C1 level).
