Data Extraction Manager – OpenData EMEA (Remote)

About the role

Veeva Systems is a fast‑growing SaaS company serving the life‑sciences industry. The OpenData Commercial team provides reference data across the healthcare ecosystem, and this role leads a team of data analysts focused on website data extraction. You will ensure fresh, high‑quality data reaches customers and support analytical reporting needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6‑8 analysts, handling hiring and performance management.
• Manage workload in partnership with product managers to meet delivery targets.
• Ensure the quality and freshness of extracted data.
• Select and maintain the appropriate crawling and extraction tools.
• Deliver extracted data and reports on schedule.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience leading a technical team.
• Strong understanding of best practices such as version control and code reviews.
• Hands‑on experience building robust, scalable crawlers.
• Solid knowledge of data structures and data models.
• Project and task management skills.
• Basic understanding of Python.

• Experience with crawling tools (e.g., Mozenda, Zyte) and Redshift is a plus.
