Data Engineering Team Leader (French Speaker)

About the role

Natixis is looking for a motivated French‑speaking Data Engineering Team Leader to head a dedicated group of Data Engineers in Lisbon. You will combine hands‑on technical work with leadership duties, shaping data strategies and ensuring high‑quality delivery of data solutions for the BPCE Group.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day management, mentorship and guidance to a team of Data Engineers.
• Oversee the efficient execution of data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Offer technical direction, leveraging your own expertise in ETL processes and tools.
• Coordinate project priorities, allocate resources and manage deadlines.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and data quality.
• Support the professional growth and development of team members.

Required profile

• Fluency in French (essential).
• Solid experience as a Data Engineer, including ETL processes and tools.
• Educational background in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a coordination or leadership role.
• Willingness to work in Lisbon and familiarity with the Portuguese market is a plus.
