Data Analyst

About the role

As a Data Analyst in the Risk Analytics team, you will help build a data‑driven Continuous Auditing and Continuous Control Monitoring (CA/CCM) function. Working closely with audit, business and technology stakeholders, you will translate audit objectives into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights that strengthen internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data analytics scripts, models and ETL processes to detect control weaknesses, anomalies and risks.
• Create reliable datasets for audit testing from enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Build and sustain automated CA/CCM dashboards and reports using Power BI, Snowflake, Python and SQL.
• Support the full lifecycle of CA/CCM initiatives, from concept and design through deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI, Large Language Models and low‑code platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio) for prompt engineering, code optimisation and AI‑agent development.
• Perform ad‑hoc data analyses and present findings through clear visualisations to audit leadership and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT, process owners and internal audit teams to ensure data access, understand data structures and align on project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Finance or a related field.
• Typically 2 + years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, audit or a similar area.
• Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of internal controls, risk analysis and audit principles.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Fluent business‑level English, both written and spoken.
