Cybersecurity Engineer – Hybrid (Porto)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer to join its Porto office in a hybrid work model. You will help protect client environments by identifying, assessing, and prioritising vulnerabilities across internet‑facing assets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and assess security vulnerabilities, determine risk impact and recommend remediation priorities.
• Produce and present security and vulnerability reports to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate remediation activities with cross‑functional teams and external entities.
• Operate security scanning and rating platforms, applying offensive security concepts where appropriate.
• Maintain documentation and dashboards using reporting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in related risk‑management roles.
• Strong understanding of security risks linked to internet‑facing assets and external attack surfaces.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Relevant certifications (preferred) and optional French language proficiency.
