Android Developer – Hybrid (São João da Madeira)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join KCS IT’s hybrid team in São João da Madeira. You will design, develop and maintain high‑performance Android applications for a variety of clients, working both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship robust Android apps using Kotlin as the primary language.
• Maintain and enhance legacy codebases written in Java.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and implement asynchronous flows with Coroutines and Flow.
• Ensure code quality through unit and UI testing, code reviews and adherence to Android best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Git‑based workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Commitment to high standards of performance, maintainability and documentation.
