Cybersecurity and Network Analyst

About the role

Wire IT is looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity and Network Analyst to join its team in Funchal, Madeira. You will work on a variety of client projects, helping organisations strengthen their security posture and manage complex network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity and network analysis services for clients.
• Implement, configure and troubleshoot security solutions such as firewalls and identity management tools.
• Support the design and maintenance of secure network architectures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or professional training in Information Security, Data Protection, Networks and Communications.
• More than 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or network engineering.
• Relevant certifications and training as listed below.

• Ethical Hacking
• Linux I‑II and Linux Operating System for Administrators
• Microsoft Active Directory – Installation and Configuration
• Fortinet FortiOS 7.0
• Palo Alto Networks Firewall Essentials and Troubleshooting
• Security Analytics – Breaking the Kill Chain with AI‑Powered Breathing Protection r05
• Information Security Management – Fundamentals of ISO/IEC 27001:2022
