Cybersecurity Analyst L2 – Blue Team (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst L2 to join our Blue Team, focusing on security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. The role involves managing the SIEM use case lifecycle and continuously improving detection capabilities within a remote/hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor compliance with SLAs for cybersecurity operations.
• Create, develop, and optimize detection use cases within SIEM platforms.
• Govern and maintain the lifecycle of use cases from requirements to continuous improvement.
• Analyze security events and alerts to identify potential threats.
• Participate in threat hunting activities to proactively uncover emerging threats.
• Support vulnerability analysis and tracking to aid risk mitigation.
• Investigate security incidents and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Produce technical documentation and activity reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective security processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations or SOC Level 2 within a Blue Team environment.
• Strong knowledge of log analysis, incident investigation, and security monitoring.
• Experience with threat hunting and threat analysis.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
