Senior Product Manager (XDR) – Security Solutions

About the role

Elastic Security is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and grow Elastic XDR. The role owns a core area of the XDR roadmap end‑to‑end, from requirements through shipped product, and contributes to exposure and vulnerability capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap, driving detection, correlation, incident building and response across endpoint, cloud, identity and network.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations, incorporating first‑party Elastic data and third‑party EDR, cloud, identity and network sources.
• Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, prioritizing based on exploitability and reachability.
• Write clear requirements and translate customer input and threat research into product features.
• Represent the product in conversations with senior security stakeholders and feed insights back into the roadmap.
• Ensure capabilities work across Elastic’s deployment models (cloud, on‑premises, air‑gapped).

Required profile

• 5+ years in security‑related technical product management, competitive analysis or technical marketing, with at least 3 years in product development.
• Hands‑on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response or forensic work, preferably as a SOC analyst or detection engineer.
• Experience building products that rely on heterogeneous third‑party data and integrations.
• Strong understanding of analytics techniques for detection and prioritization and the current cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility to produce high‑quality requirements and assess feasibility.
• Comfort presenting to senior security customers and translating complex concepts for varied audiences.
