Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Join ADENTIS as a Cyber Security Engineer and help protect our applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with development, DevOps and security teams to embed security throughout the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in cloud environments using tools such as Prisma Cloud, Snyk and Wiz.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps and security teams to implement secure practices and improve the overall security posture.
• Monitor security alerts, respond to incidents and conduct threat analysis.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, threat modeling and propose remediation actions.
• Integrate security controls and automated checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Lead vulnerability management processes and optimise security tooling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT security, preferably in software development.
• EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work visa/residency.
• Willingness to work onsite a few days per week.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CSPM tools (Prisma Cloud, Wiz).
• Application security expertise with Snyk (SCA, SAST, DAST).
• Knowledge of secure SDLC, DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and IAM / container security.
• Experience in vulnerability management, threat modeling and web hardening.
