Customer Support Representative (Airline) – French‑speaking

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Customer Support Representative to join our airline client in Lisbon. The role involves assisting travelers through phone, email and chat, providing accurate information and creating positive travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer support via phone, email, and chat with a professional and friendly approach.
• Handle sales inquiries, general information requests, and customer complaints.
• Manage sensitive cases, including escalations from regulatory bodies.
• Oversee booking management: create, modify, or cancel reservations.
• Support back‑office tasks such as ticket issuance, modifications, and cancellations.
• Provide real‑time information to help customers make informed decisions.
• Exceed expectations by creating memorable, positive travel experiences.
• Actively listen, acknowledge needs, and offer tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Fluent French (C1) and good English (B2).
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience (mandatory).
• Previous experience in tourism or as a travel representative is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with empathy and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to adapt to rotational shifts and dynamic schedules.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to handle complex or sensitive cases.

Required skills

• Experience with GDS tools such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.
