About the role
Terumo is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash process for its Portugal operations. The role ensures accurate order entry, delivery follow‑up, invoicing and maintains high‑quality service for both internal and external customers.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full order‑to‑cash cycle: order entry, delivery monitoring, invoicing and customer master data maintenance.
- Use SAP and EDI systems to process orders efficiently and ensure compliance with internal controls such as J‑SOX.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing documentation, handling claims and maintaining strong relationships with sales, marketing and supply‑chain teams.
- Coordinate consignment flows, monitor stock levels, manage short‑expiry products and support sales with consignment activities.
- Manage complaints, returns and recall processes, and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects and KPI tracking.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert, identifying opportunities to optimise processes and improve service levels.
Required profile
- Experienced professional with a strong background in order‑to‑cash or customer service functions.
- Proactive problem‑solver able to resolve order discrepancies, delays and stock issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build partnerships across multiple internal departments.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
