Controlling & Reporting Senior

About the role

Volkswagen Financial Services Porto is seeking a Controlling & Reporting Senior to join its Finance team. The role supports the Finance & Controlling department in planning, forecasting, budgeting, month‑end closing and invoicing for international markets, ensuring accurate financial data and reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support forecast activities and annual budget preparation for international markets.
• Develop and maintain forecast, budget and planning templates, assumptions and supporting documentation.
• Assist month‑end closing, including accrual review, financial report preparation and variance analysis.
• Perform reconciliations between SAP, forecast data and reporting files.
• Support quarterly invoicing processes, roll‑forward of files, PDF consolidation and submission to markets.
• Produce ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports for headquarters and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in finance controlling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret variances between budget, forecast and actuals.
• Proficiency in working with international stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy.
