Contracts Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Contracts Associate to join Percona’s contract operations team. The role sits at the crossroads of legal, business and technology, offering daily variety as you draft, negotiate and manage contracts for our consulting, support and managed-service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, send and negotiate contracts, updating language for clarity using tools such as Salesforce, Ironclad and AI.
• Verify that sales quotes accurately reflect customer entitlements and service deliverables, ensuring clean data for billing and finance.
• Develop a working knowledge of Percona’s products (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) to spot inconsistencies in contracts and quotes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers, receiving mentorship from the Senior Director of Contract Operations and the Contracts Business Partner.
• Review red‑lined agreements, identify issues and propose practical solutions.
• Support RFP responses, vendor questionnaires and document requests in coordination with Finance and Compliance.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience drafting or managing contracts.
• Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity for problem‑solving.
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate legal concepts clearly to non‑legal stakeholders.
• Motivation to build expertise at the intersection of law, business and technology.
