Communications Officer

About the role

The Communications Officer will support the implementation of BNP Paribas Portugal's Communications Plan, covering both internal and external audiences. You will create compelling content, manage media relations, and help strengthen the bank's brand reputation across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish content for the corporate website, press releases, talking points, Q&A documents, and social media.
• Monitor and measure social media activity, clipping, and media coverage.
• Suggest and execute social media strategies to increase BNP Paribas' online presence.
• Plan and produce internal communication tools such as intranet articles, newsletters, and mass mailings.
• Support the organization of internal events for team‑building and business objectives.
• Act as the single point of contact for internal departments with specific communication needs, managing calendars and content.
• Oversee expense tracking and invoice control related to communication activities.
• Coordinate with the internal Community Manager to set goals, share best practices, and organize community events.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Marketing or Communications.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or communications.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
