Commercial Buyer (f/m/div.)

About the role

Bosch Car Multimedia, part of the Bosch Group's Automotive Electronics division, is hiring a Commercial Buyer in Braga. You will help shape the company's sourcing strategy and build a resilient, competitive supply base, working in an international environment with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support new product launches and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for assigned material groups
• Analyze market and supplier data to find opportunities for consolidation, standardization and cost optimization
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial agreements
• Secure supplier capacity for new projects and support supply chain resilience, risk mitigation and continuity
• Help resolve material shortages and supply challenges with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional projects with purchasing, engineering, logistics, quality and manufacturing teams
• Influence strategic procurement decisions and monitor procurement market trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Procurement, Category Management or Supply Chain Management
• Experience in an international environment and managing supplier relationships
• Fluent English; German is a plus
