Cloud Engineer – Platform Infrastructure

About the role

Join Bose's Product Cloud Team to help build and operate a mature cloud platform that powers millions of audio devices worldwide. You will work closely with internal development teams to ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance core cloud infrastructure for large‑scale, mission‑critical services.
• Design and implement platform components that improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate, pilot, and adopt cutting‑edge cloud technologies and open‑source tools.
• Develop and manage deployment, monitoring, and operations tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of resources.
• Establish best practices for observability, performance optimization, and security.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define architectural standards and platform best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cloud platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud providers, preferably AWS.
• Strong background in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking protocols, and software platform design.
